SUPER STAR SALES EXECUTIVE
Seattle magazine is looking for experienced advertising Sales Executives to step in and build on existing territories in the Puget Sound.

We are looking for our next Super Stars!
Candidates must be qualified sales executives with sales experience (preferably advertising sales in print, television, radio or online) to join our family.
We desire candidates with a competitive spirit who want to succeed. You should be a highly motivated, self-starter who can build strong relationships with your customers.
Candidates must have a great track record of prospecting for new business as well as renewing existing accounts at a high percentage. The right candidates will have the ability to establish rapport quickly, have a history of meeting with decision makers and closing in a short sales cycle. We are looking for the top 10% only.
The right candidates have a consultative style, not a telling style. Candidates should be highly motivated in commission based selling with the ability to exceed established goals while generating high client satisfaction.

Editorial Internships
Editorial internships are available at Seattle magazine throughout the year. Most require a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week in our office, during business hours. Work schedules are usually either a morning shift or an afternoon shift. Internships generally last for six months and openings occur approximately every three to four months. Academic credit is available. If academic credit is not needed, a nominal stipend is paid.
Seattle Magazine Editorial Internship

A six-month (half-day, five days a week) internship working closely with top editors researching, writing and editing material for the monthly magazine. Projects might include the following: proofreading articles, fact-checking stories, writing sidebars, researching writing assignments, conducting interviews and investigations, attending concerts and parties, reviewing restaurants, responding to queries, clipping and filing potential story leads, logging artwork, and mailing returns. All editorial interns also provide invaluable support to our online editor, including uploading magazine content to the online archives, maintaining directories, assisting with social media coverage, and researching and pitching blog ideas. This portion of your internship is a great opportunity to broaden your understanding of SEO, online content strategy and basic tools for the web.
