Seattle Poetry Slam

The talented collective known as Seattle Poetry Slam has been mesmerizing local audiences since 1996. But this month marks a first for the group: a slam devoted entirely to celebrating black poets, in honor of Black History Month. Acclaimed local poet and slam master Daemond Arrindell will rock the mic, plus a slate of black spoken-word artists who are bound to astound. 2/28.
