Say goodbye to the hot dog on a stick! Food options for kids at Seattle Center’s former Center House—now called the Armory—have taken a turn for the healthy. The recently opened Seattle branch of the Wisconsin-based Bean Sprouts Café & Cooking School offers pint-size foodies the chance to order off an adorable menu, full of friendly looking food, from a kid-level counter.

They’ll love the Itsy Bitsy Biter sandwich (cream cheese with organic pepperoni and veggies, $4.75), scream for the Yo-Yo Cone-O (vanilla yogurt and fruit served in an ice cream cone, $2) and go nuts for the Whoopsie Daisy (a flower-shaped turkey and cheddar sandwich with a celery-stick stem, $4.75; shown below).

Afterward, head downstairs to the Children’s Museum for the Bean Sprouts–sponsored play café exhibit.

Open daily, 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Seattle Center Armory, 305 Harrison St.; beansprouts.com
